Alejandro Lococo's Main Event Story
Alejandro Lococo, also known by his stage name "Papo" is an Argentinian MC, avid poker player, and PokerStars Ambassador. Lococo has racked up $118,127 in live tournament earnings, which includes three cashes under the WSOP umbrella. His best live cash of $36,772 was achieved thanks to his fifth-place finish in the MILLIONS South America Rio Open.
Lococo is just as sharp at the table as he is on a microphone and has recorded four five-figure paydays, with one of those coming in the 2020 WPT World Online Championships. He finished a respectable 23rd place for $19,200 in Event #4: $3,200 6-Max Championship, $3m GTD, outlasting the likes of Nicholas Marchington, Adrian Mateos and David Peters.

Alejandro Lococo's Key Hands
On Day 6, Jonathan Dwek, in complimentary fashion, branded Lococo "a sicko," after a hand versus Ukranian Denys Prydvor.
Lococo flat-called a middle position open to 240,000 and Denys Prydvor three-bet to 875,000 in the hijack. The initial raiser folded and Lococo called. Lococo check-called a bet of 525,000 from Prydvor on the 9♥9♣Q♠ flop, and also called a bet of 900,000 on the 2♦ turn.
Lococo checked a third time on the 6♠ river and Prydvor checked back. Lococo tabled 7♥7♦ for a pair of sevens to win the pot as Prydvor mucked his hand.
On Day he 7 began to chip up after taking a pot from fellow final table mate Chase Bianchi. Lococo raised to 600,000 from the hijack and Bianchi three-bet to 1,600,000 from the button. The blinds quickly folded but Lococo made the call after considering it for 83 seconds.
The flop came 7♣3♠2♥, Lococo quickly checked and Bianchi bet 1,200,000 almost immediately. Lococo called. The turn was the 3♥, Lococo checked again. This time, Bianchi fired a bet of 3,400,000 out and was called. The river completed the board with the 2♦, Lococo checked for the final time. Bianchi did the same.
Lococo showed the J♥7♥ for the higher two pair than on the board to claim the pot.
Lococo then ensured he'd be starting Day 8 as one of the top three stacks after sending GGPoker qualifier Sean Ragozzini to the rail in the final level of the day.
Ragozzini limped in from the small blind with pocket queens and Lococo, holding A♥10♥ announced all in from the big blind. Ragozzini quickly snapped off his remaining 14,800,000 chips and was at risk on the unofficial final table bubble.
The flop came K♦Q♣5♥ to give Ragozzini a set of queens but Lococo picked up a straight draw. The 9♠ on the turn changed nothing but it was the J♠ on the river that sent the Amazon Room into a frenzy. Lococo celebrated with his rail after making a straight and Ragozzini was eliminated in 11th place.
What to Watch for
Lococo has shown that he's not afraid to call players down light or put his chip stack to use. Going back to his run in the MILLIONS South America Rio Open, Lococo was eliminated after making a move with seven-six suited, a move that saw him four-bet jam 81,700,000 over the top of an opening raise, three-bet and cold call! It was ill-timed as Enio Bozzano tossed in the extra chips from his initial three-bet and his pocket tens beat Lococo.
